I am a career hotelier and author and known for my ability to apply common sense solutions that create results by building both customer and associate loyalty and engagement.

As a coach, I have been able to assist individuals and organizations develop their potential to reach new levels of success. As a business speaker with more than 6,000 classes and presentations, I have led many discussions and programs with groups looking to move forward rather than remaining in place or moving backwards.

With more than 50 years of leadership and operational experience in both corporate and small-town America, I have dealt firsthand with many of the obstacles, frustrations, and concerns today’s leaders face.

Serving in senior management positions with a number of the leading names in hospitality, I have created proven approaches to dealing with those issues facing business today based on my experience as someone who has “been there.”
